A BIG congratulations to both Chris Cooper & Will Humphris!! Both of these guys have shown great consistency in their training as well as an awesome attitude. Chris has lost over 14kgs since joining Brawn last year in October and Will has taken his fitness to the next level in just a few short months going the extra mile by working on weaknesses and conditioning before every WOD.

BBQ Ribs/Hamburgers

3 month fitness goal: 
Start hitting RX more often and maybe a muscle up or two

What’s something that we don’t know about you? 
I know that Abbey Menzies is a real good boot scooter

Why did you choose CrossFit? 
I like the 'constantly varied’ approach as well as the community/team environment

What words of advice would you give to anyone thinking about giving CrossFit a go? 
Don’t be scared, just give it a go, you have to start somewhere!

Favourite CrossFit movement: weighted pull ups & muscle ups

Favourite WOD: 
'Helen' or Australian hero wod 'murph'

Least favourite movements: 
hspu & thrusters.

Least favourite WOD: 
open 14.5 absolutely horrible closely followed by Fran.

Last PR achieved: 
Diane 10:07 down to 7:27!

Favourite CrossFit tool: 
my tommy kono knee sleeves.

Results that you have achieved: 
Since joining I have noticed an improvement in strength, particularly in squats, deadlifts and jerks. My technique has greatly improved, and I am starting to notice some improvement in conditioning. Also pretty stoked that I have gotten some muscle ups on the bar and rings!

Do you have a nickname? Nope.

Hobbies: 
water skiing, wake boarding & now the number 1 is crossfit. 

Favourite food/meal: 
lamb korma.

3 month fitness goal: 
I want to improve my performance in conditioning wods. I'd like to knock a couple of minutes off 'Fran' & 14.5..

What’s something that we don’t know about you? 
I hate heights.

Why did you choose CrossFit? 
The intensity of the workouts, the positive culture & variety of the work outs.

What words of advice would you give to anyone thinking about giving CrossFit a go? 
Just have a crack at it & if ur going to try it try it at Brawn.
