I have been in the fitness industry since 2007 working with clients from all walks of life and with them a differing array of goals, needs and fitness levels.
Personal training and coaching has always been more than just a job to me. My clients are my top priority and through their success my goals are achieved.
As a trainer, nothing really struck out to me until I found CrossFit.
Already trying to break away from the isolated bodybuilding approach to fitness that I had long been working in, I had begun to seek function and mechanics in training, the notion of moving your body rather than a machine really resinated with me.
I loved not only by the competitive aspect, but the entire Crossfit ethos as a whole just clicked with me and the trainer I wanted to be.
Right away I knew I wanted to provide my clientele with optimal health and true fitness with the CrossFit method.
After years of working in a conventional gym, I set up shop at home to practice what I love from my garage gym and soon after turned it into a CrossFit affiliate. Logically the next step was to evolve from this and open the facility I had always envisioned.
I am extremely excited about taking this next step and sharing this passion on a bigger platform with our current member base and I look forward to building our CrossFit Brawn community in the future.

Working in the fitness industry since 2000 and having seen many styles of training and philosophies come and go I have established a real belief in the benefit of the Crossfit methodologies.
I believe in a healthy body and mind contributing to a happy and fulfilling lifestyle. My passion is helping people improve themselves and getting closer and closer to their true potential. And to do this you not only need to be mentally prepared but also physically strong and fit. Personally I enjoy coaching people to first of all believe in their own potential and then assisting them to push themselves to reach that potential.
Crossfit really struck a chord with me when I did my first workout, there were a few things that stood out but the biggest one being the power of the community and the influence the other participants had on my ability to push harder and strive for more improvement within myself. The other thing is one of the core philosophies being multi-skilled across various modalities, Crossfit will push you out of your comfort zone and give you the confidence to try and do things you would have never done before and with that comes improved results and a feeling of achievement.
The inclusion of Crossfit in my life has helped me decide to move from the business and leadership side of the fitness industry back to more of the hands on side of the industry and running a box and coaching our members to their goals. At Crossfit Brawn we want our members to the have the opportunity to give 100% effort in a safe non-intimidating environment, Crossfit is for anyone of any fitness level as all workouts are scaled based off your current fitness level.
